How does it work?
• Simply signup and upload your photos. Once we verify your photo, we'll pay you for each photo you upload. Then, if a subscriber/buyer downloads your photo, you get paid again! Get paid for both uploads & downloads!

How much does it cost?
• Signing up and uploading your photos is Free. We handle all of the sales, promotion and customer support. There are no hassles for you, just upload and earn money!

What kind of images should I upload?
We accept only stock oriented photos, vectors, icons, illustrations. No snapshots or tourist-like photos are accepted.

When do I get paid?
• Profit from the sales/uploads of your photos is paid to you once a month. Payment is sent when you reach $100 in earnings.

How do I get paid?
• When you signup, you can choose whether to get paid using Paypal, or via a check.

What do you mean by "buying" my photo(s)?
• Everytime you upload an accepted photo(s), we will pay you a fee, this fee is a photo license fee. This means we are buying rights to distribute/resell your photo(s) without paying any further fees. You retain all copyright/ownership rights, however you agree to give us, "StockPhotoSpot" and its affiliates, full permission to resell/re-distribute these image(s) without paying any further royalities/fees to you, the photographer.

Can I upload a photo or illustration that I didn't create?
• Absolutely not. Anything you upload to StockPhotoSpot must be 100% yours. You must own the copyright, be the sole owner of the copyright, and the art itself may not contain anything copyrighted by somebody else. If you upload work that isn't yours, your account will be suspended, funds held and past funds will be reversed/charged back.

What are the requirements of an uploaded photo?
• Photos must be at least 3.0MP (3 Million Pixels). To determine the amount of pixels in a photo, multiply the width by the length. For example: a photo which is 2400x1800 adds up to a total of 4.32 million pixels - a photo of this size is valid - however, a photo which is 1000x1600 adds up to a total of 1.6 million pixels which is smaller than our minimum size requirement. Your photo must be 3MP or 1600x1600 pixels or larger to be accepted. However, we will accept vector illustrations/icons that are 1280x1024 or larger.

Can I change keywords after I upload a photo?
• Yes, you can do this in our photographer panel, once you make changes, the photo will be queued for re-approval.

How do I know where my photos will be used?
• You may not know where your photos are used - but buyers must agree to our Terms and Conditions allowing only certain uses of the photographs. This includes web, print, pamphlets, posters, etc. Buyers may not (under any circumstances) resell photos downloaded from StockPhotoSpot or use a photo in a way that is defamatory, libelous or humiliating to the model.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can submit in a day?
• No. You can submit 1 or 1,000 - We welcome all of your photos as long as they meet our guidelines.

What file format do you want my photos/images/illustrations in?
• All files must be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format, RGB, free of noise or any other artifacts, with a minimum size of 3MP.

How long does it take for photos to be approved?
• Photos are usually approved within 48 hours. During busy times, it could take a few additional days to get approval for a photo.

Do you accept illustrations, vector, icons or 3D renders?
• Yes! Feel free to upload them.

I am currently selling my photos on other sites - is that OK?
• Yes. StockPhotoSpot's Submit Terms of Service is not exclusive; therefore, photos that you submit to StockPhotoSpot can also be submitted to other agencies.

Can I add extra keywords to my images just so they will show up in more searches?
• You are responsible for choosing keywords for your own images, but we do not recommend using a thesaures, and keyword-spamming (using unrelated words) in order to be included in more searches. We will warn you if we find out that you are keyword-spamming. Repeat offenders will have their accounts disabled.

Does every photo I upload require a model release?
• For any photo that contains persons that can be identified (identifiable human face), you must enclose a Model Release Form - this form shows the consent of your object to be photographed. If the photo you submit is yourself, we will still require a model release form from you. You can download them here: Adult model release form | Minor model release form.

How do I get my model releases to you?
• You can attach it to us via contact form, or you can send it to release @stockphotospot.com.


Payment

Is there a minimum payout?
• Yes, you must accumulate at least $100 to be paid. All earnings are brought forward into the next pay period until you reach $100, at which time a payout will be issued automatically. If you close your account before your earnings reach $100, you will forfeit those earnings.

How often will I be paid?
• Monthly, checks are sent out for the previous month's payouts. For example: On the 15th of March, payments will be sent for February uploads & downloads. If during any period you haven't reached the minimum payout, your earnings will be brought forward to the next pay period.

Do I need to request a payout?
• No - once you reach $100 in earnings, a check will automatically be cut and mailed to you. Please make sure we have accurate information so that payments aren't delayed.

What if I don't receive payment?
• Payments don't go out till mid-month. Checks can take up to 4 weeks to arrive at their destination and 6 weeks if sent internationally. If you still do not have your check six weeks after the end of the calendar month, please contact support and we will send you a new check.We can only reissue payment in the original form of payout.
