copyright law calls an “original work of authorship.”
Derivative works, also known as “new versions,”
include such works as translations, musical arrangements,
dramatizations, fictionalizations, art reproductions, and
condensations. Any work in which the editorial revisions,
annotations, elaborations, or other modifications represent,
as a whole, an original work of authorship is a “derivative
work” or “new version.” For more information,

What does 'royalty-free' mean?
“Royalty-free” is a type of a stock photo license
that provides for the unlimited use of a photo in any media
defined in the licensing terms. “Royalty-free”
is the opposite of “rights-managed.” A rights-managed
photo needs a specific license stating the audience and
material surrounding the photo. All the photos on StockphotoSPOT
are royalty-free and so do not require an individual license.
All photos are bound by one or both of the two types of
licensing agreements.

You may not sell the photos that you have downloaded from
StockphotoSPOT. You can use them in design elements - but

What do I do when I'm having download problems and
credits were deducted?
If you experience download problems, you can try downloading
that file again at a later date. We ignore duplicate downloads
and as such, downloading the same file again will not deduct
another credit. You are given 6 months to download the same
photo without additional charges, after this period it will
count as another download credit.
What is a credit and how does it work?
StockphotoSPOT works on a micro-payment system which allows
you to purchase photos in quantity. You pre-purchase a package
of credits and then redeem the credits for photos.
Why are your images so inexpensive/cheap?
Images on our site are contributed by individual photographers
whose talent ranges from hobbyist to professional. Our goal
is to provide customers with great photos that also fit
within their budgets.
